My name is Cati, and I would like to tell you a little bit about myself.
I am 39 years old and I am the oldest of 6 kids. I am originally from Portage County grew up on 5 acres of land. I have been married for 2 years (We've been together for 12 years) to a wonderful man, Bruce. He is very supportive and loving. I have also been blessed with two daughters. oldest being 20 and youngest 18.
I opened my daycare in 1998, when my youngest was diagnosed with AdHd and was having problems so I left my job in the medical field as a Certified Home Health Aide/Nurse's Assistant to be home for my kids. I have been doing childcare ever since. I have worked with special needs kids. I am a Mentor with the Adoption Network where I mentor foster kids as well as volunteer when they need childcare for classes, and also help with other office stuff from time to time. I started using sign language in the 5th grade and I have worked with kids to some capacity all my life, growing up I was the neighborhood baby-sitter. I was involved in 4-H and Girl Scouts, even became a troop leader assistant for my sister's troop. In the fall I am planning to go to TRI-C and get my CDA. We have 3 other four-legged family members that I don't want to forget to mention. Our kitty fur-babies Layden, Opie and Kasha are near and dear to our hearts.
